SALES MANAGER

Rubén Méndez:  Ruben has been in sales for almost 20 years. He spent 12 of those years with Bank of America where he learned to be passionate about developing relationships first and then working to solve client’s problems and providing them the solutions that they need to accomplish their goals.

Ruben has made key alliances with long-time members of the Hispanic business community in the Seattle metropolitan area such as small business owners, Realtors, mortgage bankers, accountants, and non-profit organizations. For the past 20 years, Ruben has been active in the Hispanic community as a volunteer and facilitating business services that benefit Hispanic families. It would be difficult to find anyone who has more of a pulse on the Hispanic community than Ruben.

Because of Ruben’s commitment to and experience with the Hispanic community, KPST TV jumped at the opportunity of bringing Ruben onboard  to oversee the station's sales effort in Washington State.

 

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES

Óscar Flores: Oscar Flores was born in Caracas, Venezuela and has lived in Washington since 2000. In 2002, Oscar began working on distributing products and services to the Hispanic community of Puget Sound and Central Washington. Over a span of 2 years, he saw the need for the Hispanic community to promote itself  in different mediums and this led him to work with El Mundo newspaper to learn more about the Hispanic community’s needs.

For several years, Oscar worked as a marketing consultant for large corporations that were targeting the Hispanic market. Oscar later launched his own insurance business being the first Hispanic insrurance agency in the area. Because of Oscar’s experience with the Hispanic community, ESPN Deportes Radio offered him the opportunity to bring ESPN Deportes to the Seattle-Tacoma market as General Sales and Promotion Manager.

Now with KPST, Oscar is able to bring his experience with and knowledge of the local Hispanic market and help businesses grow via targeting advertising campaigns.
